Colombian company called Edina Waterlight, just as its name suggests, uses water to charge its products. It’s a start-up that uses salt water to produce energy. Apparently, Water Light, with just 500ml of seawater, generates light for 45 days.

The seawater consists of ionized electrolytes that react to the product’s magnesium and copper plates. This process leads to the production of electricity. Apart from being a lamp, the mini device is also a mini charging booth for electronic devices.

The device is designed to work for 5600 hours, which exceeds 233 days, and users can recycle or repurpose it at the end of its life.

Garnett, completely astonished by the invention, shared the video on his Instagram stories and wrote, “Genius”

David West, the NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, is also an avid investor in the sustainable energy world.

The star forward played 15 seasons in the NBA and won two rings in 2017 and 2018 alongside Stephen Curry and Co. Clearly aware of his influence and reach, West invested in Zoetic Global.

The long-term investment gave the former NBA star to participate in the growth and expansion of the company while contributing to a life-saving endeavor.
